In confirmation of rumours, Samsung has introduced a mobile phone which will include crypto private key storage.
According to their website, the feature, termed ‘Samsung Knox’ will have ‘defense grade’ secure storage backed by hardware which houses private keys for blockchain enabled mobile services. The service will bring the manufacturer to the cutting edge of blockchain with only two other companies offering similar features: HTC Exodus 1 and Sirin Labs’ Finney, both of which can only be purchased with cryptocurrency. The widespread distribution of the Galaxy S10 will be another step towards mainstream integration of cryptocurrency and blockchain.
The Galaxy S10 also includes a plethora of upgraded features starting with an ‘advanced intelligence’ camera, the ability to charge other phones wirelessly via machine learning and is offered in 8GB RAM or 256GB.
